The first weekend was a good one for me. Highlights included:

1. My poetry recitation at Talented Tongues on Friday night. Once again, no pinapples were thrown. Better still, kind people took time out to compliment and encourage me. Poetry...methinks me likes it!

Well, I'm set for tinkerspink's slam tomorrow night. I've written, re-vised and re-re-vised my poem; it's pretty well memorized and it definitely falls within the time limit. Go me.
